Handy Answers to Hard Questions

hathq (1).jpgDoes anyone know who the artist is that drew these ads? It's a pretty common style for its time (these two are copyrighted 1970 & 1977) and for the venue of publication - I believe they were taken from Woman's Day or the like. At any rate, I love the style - very cute and charming but not sickeningly sweet.

You've probably found this out already, but the ads were produced by the AC&R Advertising Agency. That doesn't help you find the artist, but it might be one more step to search. It may have been an in-house artist or team of artists at AC&R.

Those were great ads; I grew up with 'em too.

Ah, thank you so much -- that's certainly more info than I had before, and a good start.
