Walter Karig's "Zotz!"
Stylish jacket art - by the author - for this strange book from 1947. Karig's drawings, which are featured throughout the interior, are generally very weak, sloppy and uninspired. But the cover is nice. The illustration is as much a design as a drawing, which compensates for his poor draftsmanship.
