Al Parker Pink

Al Parker Pink.jpgHere's a striking, almost poster-like Al Parker graphic from the April 1967 issue of Woman's Day. Parker is well-known enough among illustrators that little more needs to be said about his work and influence, though I will say that I didn't immediately recognize this as Parker's stuff - I'm used to seeing his fully-painted pieces and haven't seen many examples like this. More - quite a bit more - of his work can be seen here.

Wow! Now that's a VERY cool piece! I've never seen this before... and later period Parker has not generally been my favourite... but I LOVE this! Thanks for posting it, Jeff!
