Minor update: James J. Spanfeller
Just a brief note here to direct you to the etc. section of the site, if you're interested in seeing some scans of work by book illustrator James J. Spanfeller. Not necessarily a favorite artist of mine, but one whose style represents something elusive and unseen in the majority of today's commercial art... though I'm not sure exactly what that quality would be or how to define it. So have a look, and if anyone has any current info on the subject of the post, please comment.
